The purpose of the OVC FY 09 Public Awareness and Outreach to Victims in Underserved Communities is to raise awareness of traditionally underserved populations about victims' rights as well as improve their knowledge about accessing local services available to crime victims. The Minnesota Council on Crime and Justice will partner with several organizations and police departments to provide information to the Deaf community about what to do when victimized by crime as well as more specific information related to domestic abuse. ca/ncf
