Funding under this program will support direct victim assistance service grants to state, tribal, and local law enforcement agencies in small, mid-sized, and large jurisdictions to hire staff to develop new or enhance existing law enforcement-based victim service programs.

With this award, the County of Union will hire three dedicated advocates and one supervising advocate to establish a county-wide victim assistance program to support direct victim services and community engagement at the 21 local municipal police departments.
