OVC FY 20 AEAP Antiterrorism and Emergency Assistance Program - Sutherland Springs

The funding will support the State of Texas, Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division, Victims Services Section (VSS) to serve the victims of the November 5, 2017 shooting at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas. Program funds will assist victims of this incident by providing supplemental crisis response and consequence management services. Specifically, this award will provide funding to the Bexar County’s Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy-related expenses; and the Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas and the Ecumenical Center to support victims of the incident.
