Virtual Consultation on Meeting the Public Safety and Criminal Justice Needs of Native Americans

On March 16 and 17, 2022, the Department of Justice (DOJ) will hold government-to-government consultations on DOJ's efforts to address the unacceptably high rate of violent crime in Native communities, including the rates of missing or murdered indigenous persons.

The DOJ will conduct 2 webinar consultation sessions and will accept both oral and written comments. Times and registration for DOJ consultation sessions can be found below.

  • Register for the March 16, 2022, session from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. eastern time 
  • Register for the March 17, 2022, session from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. eastern time 

Please note that in addition to this consultation, DOJ and the U.S. Department of the Interior will co-host a separate interagency consultation to solicit feedback on implementation of the Executive Orders.
