Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2021, $750,000)

The SEE Human Trafficking Task Force will build the local infrastructure for human trafficking identification and response in Kent County, Michigan. As a Category 1 grantee, the task force will formalize and enhance its operations through the collaboration of Kent County Sheriff’s Office as the lead law enforcement agency, Salvation Army as the lead victim services agency, with task force coordination led by Solutions to End Exploitation (SEE). Core members of the Task Force also include the FBI, HSI, USAO, and the Kent County Prosecutor’s Office.
