Name:  Regionalized Human Trafficking Recovery Taskforce (RHTRT)

Applicants: Connecticut Division of Criminal Justice (Law Enforcement/Prosecutorial Lead) and Connecticut Children’s Alliance, Inc. (Victim Service Lead)

Description of Area: The Regionalized Human Trafficking Recovery Taskforce (RHTRT) will be piloted in the Greater Hartford Region of Connecticut (Hartford, West Hartford, Bloomfield, Manchester, Windsor, South Windsor, Glastonbury, East Hartford).  Hartford, the capital city of Connecticut with the Judicial District that has the highest volume of crime in the state, is also considered one of the country’s most violent cities. The RHTRT will provide a comprehensive multidisciplinary response to all victims of trafficking, develop protocols and response procedures based in best-practice with survivor input, provide training to partners and community members, develop, and provide a full array of services for victims.
