Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2022, $798,637)
Clackamas Women's Services, through its Housing Assistance for Survivors of Human Trafficking (HASHT) project, will provide safe stable housing and trauma-informed, victim-centered services to victims of human trafficking, leading to increased autonomy, self-sufficiency, safety, and well-being. In addition, this project will provide culturally responsive services and coordination to remove barriers of access for underserved populations with a focus on the largest Limited English Proficiency population in the county, those who identify as Latinx. Clackamas Women’s Services will serve as the lead applicant, Safety Compass as a subrecipient, A Safe Place Family Justice Center providing space, and Northwest Family Services’ Casa Esperanza (House of Hope) and A Village for One as prioritized referral partners.
