Legal Aid to Victims of Human Trafficking

Legal Action of Wisconsin (LAW) will expand provision of civil legal aid to survivors of human trafficking throughout Wisconsin; engage in structural-change advocacy to respond to and develop legal remedies related to human trafficking; engage in development of statewide coordination between service providers, law enforcement, and legal aid organizations; structure outreach and partnership development on internal data collection and review; and  employ a race-equity lens to legal aid provision to meet the needs of labor trafficking victims and communities that have been historically underserved, marginalized, and adversely affected by inequality.
