Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2012, $300,000)

The purpose of this award, one of several projects funded under the Services for Victims of Human Trafficking Grant Program, is to allow Colorado Legal Services to provide or dispatch legal services for victims of human trafficking as defined by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000, as amended. Colorado Legal Services will ensure the provision of direct legal services for foreign national and U.S. citizen victims of trafficking identified or living in the State of Colorado. The grantee will also provide training and technical support to build capacity for legal service providers in the State of Colorado over a two year project period. ca/ncf
