Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2019, $447,694)

Under the FY 2018 Integrated Services for Minor Victims of Trafficking program, all grantees are required to serve all minor victims (boys and girls under age 18) of all forms of human trafficking (sex and labor). The grantee will work with OVC Program Managers and Training and Technical Assistance Providers to ensure all victims are served. Youth Services of Tulsa, Inc. (YST) is the largest youth services organization in the state, offers a comprehensive continuum of services for runaway, homeless, and street youth, and is the only nonprofit in Tulsa County to focus solely on young people, ages 12 thru 24. To improve the quality and quantity of services available to minor victims of trafficking in Tulsa County, YST will create the True Safety program to address the safety, security, and healing needs of minor victims of all forms of human trafficking. The program will use a highly collaborative, community-wide approach to provide high-quality developmentally and culturally appropriate services that are specifically tailored for the individual needs of victims of sex and labor trafficking under the age of 18. True Safety will use a comprehensive services model that leverages and engages community resources to provide an array of services, fill gaps, and bridge fragmented systems of care. CA/NCF
