Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Communities Through OJP Grantmaking

The Office of Justice Programs (OJP), the primary grantmaking component of the U.S. Department of Justice, is hosting a virtual discussion titled Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through OJP Grantmaking, on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 1:00–4:00 p.m., eastern time.

This forum is an opportunity to be in conversation with OJP leadership about its efforts to advance racial equity and reduce barriers to accessing OJP grants and programming for community based organizations. It will also be an opportunity for you to inform OJP about your community’s public safety needs and priorities.

OJP wants to hear from communities most impacted by public safety issues, and work together to advance the fair administration of justice, improve justice system responses and community engagement, ensure all victims get the assistance they need, and invest in community centered approaches and initiatives.

We hope you can participate in this important conversation.
