Good Afternoon,

As promised earlier this month, we are very excited to share with you the release of “VOCApedia”. Yesterday, VOCApedia went live on OVC’s VOCA Administrators’ webpage. VOCApedia is OVC’s VOCA Victim Assistance allowability resource tool for VOCA Victim Assistance SAAs, which was formerly known as OVC’s “VOCA Victim Assistance FAQs.” VOCApedia is a “living” resource that will be updated on a monthly basis as we receive questions from the field and provide answers. For the month of October, we had 46 new questions and answers, and 4 updated answers.

We hope you will find VOCApedia useful, and that you will provide us with feedback about how we can improve this process. We will be updating and tweaking the process as we go. Feel free to send your allowability questions through your grant manager, me, or our quarterly FAQ webinars facilitated by OVC TTAC. The next quarterly FAQ webinar is scheduled for January 29, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. OVC TTAC will soon be sending an invitation to register. You can expect the next VOCApedia update by November 30, 2019.

I look forward to seeing many of you next week in Santa Fe, NM.

Happy weekend everyone.

Kate
