It is with great excitement that we at OJP under the leadership of our new Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Katie Sullivan and OVC Director Darlene Hutchinson announce an updated process for match waiver approvals. We have heard your concerns regarding the match waiver approval process, and we are taking action.

As of today, SAAs are no longer required to receive prior OVC review and approval for match waiver determinations. The updated match waiver approval process is discussed in more detail in the attached memorandum.

We appreciate your openness in discussing match waivers and other issues impacting the important work that you are doing to serve victims. We are interested in your feedback about this new match waiver process. Please contact your grant manager or me, [email protected], with any questions or comments about the new process or anything else.

Thank you for all of your hard work. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you soon.

Kate
