Onslow County E-MDT

The project for Onslow County, NC will improve collaboration and communication among government, public, and private agencies that are providing services to the elderly and can assist victims of elder abuse. Grant funds will provide a dedicated Elderly Multidisciplinary Team (E-MDT) Coordinator that will manage the functions of the team, manage data collection, and complete reporting requirements. The activities that are planned for the project include the addition of a neuropsychologist and forensic accountant. The addition of these specific disciplines will enable the E-MDT to assist in prosecuting those who commit elder abuse or exploitation.
