New Translated Materials to Help Young Survivors of Human Trafficking

To commemorate World Day Against Trafficking in Persons on July 30, OVC announces newly translated Child Victims and Witnesses Support Materials for use with young survivors of human trafficking. In addition to English, these materials are now available in the following five languages:

  • African French
  • Brazilian Portuguese
  • Chinese (simplified)
  • Spanish
  • Vietnamese

Based on the input of national experts and young trafficking survivors, the translated graphic novels include excerpts of support from individuals with lived experience and information for a reader who might find themselves in a similar situation. A companion piece provides information about a victim’s or witness’ rights and the roles of the people they might meet. A translated Guide for Parents and Caregivers provides information on how to use the materials.
