In March 2020, the U.S. Department of Justice launched National Elder Fraud Hotline to help combat fraud against older Americans and provide services to victims. As of June 2020, hotline staff have addressed over 1,830 calls.
The hotline, managed by the Office for Victims of Crime, is staffed by caring professionals who will treat you with dignity and respect. Callers will be assigned a case manager, who will remain their point of contact. A case manager will assist you with reporting the crime and connect you with other resources as needed.

The hotline is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. eastern time. Services are available for speakers of English, Spanish, and other languages.
