OVC will award two grants of up to $600,000 each to provide support to programs that have developed a national capacity to deliver assistance to victims of crime nationwide and to strengthen the ability of local victim service providers, law enforcement agencies, and allied professional to serve victims.

This grant makes funds available to establish, expand, and improve direct service victim assistance programs for federally recognized tribes. A total of up to $3.5 million is available to federally recognized American Indian and Alaska Native tribes, tribal organizations, nonprofit tribal organizations, and nonprofit organizations serving American Indian and Alaska Native tribes.
