National Institute of Justice: Teen Dating Violence

Building off a long history of research in the area of intimate partner violence, the National Institute of Justice is now looking to relationships during adolescence to understand the factors that put individuals at risk for involvement in abusive romantic relationships as adults.

The Dougy Center for Grieving Children and Families provides support and training locally, nationally, and internationally to individuals and organizations seeking to assist children in grief.

Dru Sjodin National Sex Offender Public Website

This initiative is an unprecedented public safety resource that provides the public with access to sex offender data nationwide. The Dru Sjodin National Sex Offender Public Website is a partnership between the U.S. Department of Justice and state, territorial, and Tribal governments, working together for the safety of adults and children.

National Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center

The Center is devoted to achieving a better understanding the scope, nature, and mental health impact of exposure to crime and other traumatic events. The Center strives to improve the mental health of victims of crime and other traumatic events through research, education, prevention, treatment, public policy consultation, and collaboration.

Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN)

RAINN operates a 24-hour hotline for English- and Spanish-speaking survivors of sexual assault (call 800-656-HOPE, text HOPE to 64673, or chat online). RAINN provides a safe, secure, and anonymous place for victims to get help. RAINN also works to promote education and prevention of sexual assault and compiles and shares links to legal resources, including the State Mandatory Regulations regarding children and the elderly.

Adult Survivors of Child Abuse

Adult Survivors of Child Abuse helps survivors of child abuse transform their self-identities from that of victim to that of survivor and, ultimately, thriver. The site includes resource materials and guidelines for establishing support networks.

National Center on Domestic Violence, Trauma, and Mental Health

This organization seeks to enhance agency- and system-level responses to survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their families through comprehensive training and technical assistance, research and evaluation, policy development, and public awareness.

Bilateral Safety Corridor Coalition

This coalition seeks to prevent and intervene in the commercial and sexual exploitation of adults and children while advocating for all exploited persons.

National Adult Protective Services Association

The National Adult Protective Services Association provides state Adult Protective Services program administrators and staff with a forum for sharing information, solving problems, and improving the quality of services for victims of elder and vulnerable adult abuse.
