Law enforcement agencies can hire victim services personnel to focus on the rights, responses, and resources to meet the expressed and identified needs of victims as they navigate the justice system. Join Office for Victims of Crime Fellow Amy Durall for this conversation to learn how to ethically build and maintain specialized personnel and units within law enforcement agencies to support effective victim response. Discussions will focus on rotating topics of getting started, victim services role, victims’ rights/needs/services, and sustainability. Participants can connect with peers and experience guided discussions around current questions.
