This ASL hotline offers help to Deaf survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Trained advocates are available to provide culturally sensitive crisis intervention, education, information, and referrals to local services for Deaf survivors. In 2021, National Crime Victims’ Rights Week will be commemorated April 18–24. Office for Victims of Crime Director Jessica E. Hart selected the theme—Support Victims. Build Trust. Engage Communities.—to emphasize the importance of leveraging community support to help victims of crime.
